All Mustangers who have racing stripes (or plan to get them),

I have a new 2009 V6 Silver Mustang which is 3 weeks old now and I wanted to know your thoughts on racing stripes.
Which ones are better to install? Vinyl or sprayed stripes.
I got these estimates:
Vinyl: $600 material and installation, 4 hours
Sprayed (painted): $725 bumper to bumper, $550 Hood, roof and back (no bumpers)

I like the painted look especially because of its finish. It looks much better than the Vinyl stripes. Moreover $725 is one hell of a deal especially when I initially heard painted ones cost much more (around $2000). The only reason I am little hesitant is because once I get them painted, there is no turning back, and I am not sure how painted stripes would overall effect Resale value (lets say after 2 yrs I want to upgrade to GT). Vinyl ones can be removed anytime. Any Idea?

Also can anyone tell me if Matt Black stripes looks better or Glossy Black on my Silver mustang? I saw some google images but couldn't make the difference, wondering if you guys have seen it first hand....

If you had to install racing stripes on a V6, would you do them bumper to bumper or excluding bumpers?

Do I need to question the quality of Paint? If so can someone help me with the questions, coz I think $725 is wayyy too cheap for painted stripes.
Thanks in Advance,
Sam

Bumper to bumper will look best. I am also fan of black mat and not black gloss.

I've seen some vinyl stripes look really good. Guess it depends on who's doing it. I've never heard of getting painted for that cheap though...

Here is mine Factory decal

I feel that if you can get that price for painted on Stripes go that way, But honestly the ones that came on my 2010 I like a lot except for the fact that they dont extend over the front bumper ! I have a local shop by my house that I plan to take it up there ans get a stripe that extends over the bumper and down to the chin spoiler !
