Painted Window/Door Trim - Pics

Took almost 4hrs to do one side... I gave up and am going to do the other side tomorow maybe! Pretty easy just alot of taping!

I sanded and primed it then put about 3 coats of Bumber/Trim paint on... Looks alot better then before! Could be lil bit glosser but i like it! now i gotta do quarter windows!

Gloss on the trim is a no-no It looks painted then. you thought that was tough try it on a car with t-tops! I did the bumpers also what a pitb.

no gloss on the trim! it was kinda wet when takin in some of the photos

Does your door sag in the front or is it the angle? Seems I can see a lot of red in that last picture...

Anyway looks great, and something I am currently doing, only off the car!

After I get my tuning problems out of the way I need to paint the trim on the rear window and on the sides.

My quarters are peeling also, but I heard that it looks worse after you paint em. Let me know how it goes!

dang you did it the hard way, i just took my mirror off, put a couple pieces of tape on, rolled the window down, opened the door and then put a piece of cardboard behind where im painting to catch overspray.

got it at walmart... called bumper paint... under says trim paint etc... worked good...


just finished the other side today, and looks good!

Duplicolor Trim Paint at WalMart is the way to go, and most of that moulding comes right off with a few screws

looks great BTW
