Hey I just finished cleaning my calipers and everything. But, first off i have black, red, and grey/silver paint. But, on my black car i don't know what i want to do. I was gonna do all red but thats too much red for a car with no red at all. I've decided i really like the 2 tone look, but i dont know if i want the main part red, and the minor part black, vice versa. Black/silver, black/red, silver/black, silver/red and on which part of the caliper each paint should go...

Does any1 have any ideas or any black cars with similar colored calipers?

Personally, I think it's a no-lose situation...IF you do a nice clean job, red will look nice. Silver always looks good on black.

Get a piece of just paint a piece of poster board cut the shape of a caliper and see what you like.

I just bought some blue caliper paint tonight at Autozone from VHT. They only had red, yellow, blue, and silver. I got the blue. Right next to those paints was the Hi-temp engine and header paints. I would rather have the bright Ford blue as the caliper paint is more like the dark Ford blue. Could I use the engine and header paint on my caliper instead of the stuff I bought? Is there really a difference?

MUHAHAHAha my lil secret..... Actually I bought these brake decals off ebay which you can get in a bunch of different colors. Then I added 3 coats of high temp silver, then a coat of clear, then the decals and then 3 more coats of clear. Look so nice with clean rims. Those are the PBR calipers BTW.
