Painting engine parts....

has anyone painted engine parts? Cam covers, timming chain covers, pullies??? I know it has been done, but does anyone have any tips? Pics? I am looking at the 4.6l GT engine. Any help would be great, thanks

Ive seen it done to Cam Covers/Valve Covers whatever you like to call them on this guys website. Looks like a major PITA tho. Clicky Linky

well i have some team breed covers i want to do in a flat black

Wait - You have Team Breeds and you want to paint them flat black? Why?

Well Satin Black with the polished parts still polished. I am getting a KB and i want them to match. I am polishing the Cast parts of the KB. It'll make things match better. My car has a silver and black theme, but i don't want to paint them if it will be tacky and peel off.

Ford Blue engine enamel is always a good choice.

Color does look good in our boring engine bay. That guy did a good job, it does look like some work though. I vote for Ford Blue.
