I just received my full length gauge pod and now I would like to paint it to match my interior. The pod is black and my interior is dark charcoal, so they aren't too different, but I would like to get it to match closer. Any suggestions? Is there a specific type of paint to go with? How would I be able to match it to my dark charcoal interior perfectly?

I've taken mine to a friends paint and body shop, He matched the color and sprayed it for next to nothing. The quality is so much better than a rattle can not to mention the hastle of trying to find the right color.

It would be easier to paint it the color of your car .. all you need is a color code, etc.

But, there is rattle can interior paint. I've never used any but you could test it out on a scrap piece of plastic (or whatever) ....

I went to a local automotive paint store and had them custom match. I took them the paint code but they requested a sample piece from the interior and they custom mixed it and put it in a rattle can for about $20.00.

I washed my pod with soap and water and rinsed it good, let it dry then sprayed it. I have done this twice and they came out very good and the color match was perfect.

Good luck.
