For hoods with fake scoops, do people have the back of the scoop painted black -- or do they use some kind on insert? Im looking at an ABCExclusive Cobra SVO 800 Hood.

Thanks

Tom

Ihad that hood on my 2000.. Just doesn't look right on an sn-95.. anyhow, I left the opening closed because I didn't want my motor getting all dirty..

Use black vinyl to make it look likes it is cut open...

Why thank you.. That was my high school car.. Paid for and insured 100% by ME... It was a 2000 GT that I put the saleen stuff on after I graduated.. Absolutely flawless car... I would put the same hood thats on my Cobra (2000 R) on that car if I could do it again.. The hood was big and mean looking, but kinda just out of place..

Mine is cut open, but it looks dark here because of the distance.

Here's Mike's car, he had a black beehive grill cut out and fit in there. You can barely see it in this picture, but I had some close-ups of it and it looked good.

mines cut out too. I like to think it helps keep engine temps down so to me it is kinda functional.
