OK...UPDATE! Here are some pics after I painted the AC condensor with some rust-oleum high heat black (1200*). From the very front you can barely see the cores...from a slight angle everything goes COMPLETLY dark and you cant see a thing. I didnt spary alot on it either because it was hard to get to, and it really didnt need alot.

PS. tape off the plastic parts of the grill delete (and horse) with scott tape or painting tape! I got a little on mine and it turns almost white...like grey. FORTUNATLY we had some black "plastik-coat" engine bay paint (I guess for plastic lol, but maybe not), and it fixed it:nice: . It makes it shinier and blacker than the rest, but all you have to do is wait 1 minute then rub your finger HARD over the already almost dry paint and it takes off the shiny top layer and it looks 98% perfect. You really cant tell now:D .

If you were going to paint it, you would probably need to paint it with some hi-temp engine paint, cause if not, it's just going to flake off once the coolant reaches normal operating temperatures.

maybe make a small frame of screen mesh to go in front of it? like the stuff on windows. paint that black and it should hide it pretty well.

i dont think itd be a good idea to paint the radiator.

you can always get a Fluidyne radiator. That way you will be able to see "Fluidyne" when you look in there. I think that would look cool, its also what I plan on doing eventually.

I think that painting the rediator may effect the way that it expells heat. Maybe you can get something like the grill on the link that Tomustang put up and paint that instead.

If you cover it with paint, it may not work as well and cause your car to overheat.

Ahh yea, it is the condinser. LOL, i knew that...I just wasnt thinking :nonono:. Anywho, im going to paint that lol...some high heat BBQ black should do the trick.:nice: Just seeing if anyone else didnt like seeing the silver behind the pony.

Anyone want some before/after pics?

I kinda like how you can see it

WHt concerns me more and the increase in dents to the condensor fins from hitting bugs, rocks and small birds :(

I dunno. I like it both ways. I mean it doesn't bother me to the point where i feel the need to spray it black.
