Painting valve covers

Has anyone done this before on their mustang? I was thinking of doing mine silver, but since they are plastic, will it look bad? What type of paint would be good to use?

Check with T&J Performance. They're now doing a coating process on stock covers and intakes as well as other parts

This guy did it and it looks really nice in the Viper style he also included tons of other pics of diff colors. He did it himself too but it looked kinda complicated

The valve covers are plastic? I coulda sworn they were some kind of metal

I now have the Polished BBK Modular Valve covers, but here is a pic of when I had the factory covers painted silver.

Do you have pics of the BBK ones installed? I like the them but I dont like how they say "BBK" or "SOHC". It would be cooler if they made some plain ones out of metal.
