Parking Brake 'Brake Light' it dash q

I got in my car and noticed that my BRAKE light was on in my dash when i started it. Thats the first time i noticed it working, i went somewhere else today and it wasnt working. Does anyone know what it would be? Its gotta be something loose somewhere.

Check your brake fluid level... I'll bet it's low.

Mine is on because of low fluid. I fill it up monthly :-( . I need a new prop valve (which is not made anymore and discontinued by ford). I found one at a junkyard but have not ordered it yet. Luckly it is a really slow leak.
