Installed Baer Touring system(rear 12') drilled/slotted rotors with powder coated calipers. Professionally installed. Parking brake does not hold after it cools down. Car will move if not left in 1st gear. Tried some recommended adjustments but not any better.Any suggestions?? Thanks 2002 GT

How about telling those 'professional installers' to fix it and install it right?

Baer is replacing the caliper/E-brake at n/c. Good company to deal with.

Mustangs have had recalls before about ebrakes letting go. When I first got my stang, left it in a friends driveway with just the ebrake on. Came out a few hours later, and found my car down the drive way. Lucky it did not go too far, and the ebrake was still all the way up.

I learned to just park it while in gear.
