I was thinking of getting the Tokico Blues and heard there was a different version for lowered cars. Anyone know the part # and a good place to get them?

On the MM site, they tell you which ones are for lowered Mustangs and which are for standard height.

I have the Tokico HPK-237, the advanced handling suspension kit has both springs and shocks/struts. Lowers the car 1.5". Real nice handling package and both parts complement each other extremely well. Do a google search on the model number as I personally couldn't find this kit by actually going to a site store and looking for it.

I used stock length in front (C/C plates take up the extra length) and Fox body shocks on the rear (They are 1" shorter).

So basically the blues for lowered Mustangs are just 87-93 Mustang shocks?

I was told the 87-93's are the ones to use but only the front. The reasoning is because they are shorter and if you use the 99-04 they are constantly partically compressed. Possibly blowing them out sooner. Premiums ARE the blues. What ever you do dont buy the Mach 1's and use them. I matched with the H&R SS and after 6 months they handle like ****.

Not sure why only the front. I just remember that is what they told me when I called MM. Maybe because the rears dont lower as much????

Fox body shocks are the ones you want. The strut spindle mounting location is different on the Fox's so the strut body is shorter and better suited for lowered cars.

Rear shocks so be identical really in height. Ford didn't change much since 1986
