I've used Ford Motorcraft ASF 32-C (one step colder than the stock ASF 42 Cs) and have had no problem with them ever....

Stock heads use an Autolite 25. A 1 step colder plug would be a 24, 2 steps colder than stock would be a 23. What are you doing to require a colder plug? Just curious.

Yep, your going to want autolite 23's. They are two steps colder like previously stated. Gap them at .035".

I run a blower w/ Autolite 23's. (see thread about Autolites being made in China now) They have a nice grey pattern on them. They have about 4yrs and 1K of mileage.

FYI, my heads are also Edelbrocks which use a plug w/ a longer shoulder? (threaded area). If anyone is using stock plugs w/ Edelbrock heads and are having detonation/combustion problems, the stock size plugs do not reach into the combustion chamber so the plug is essentially inside the threaded area and not firing the mixture correctly.
