Does anyone know where I can get a Oil slinger?
The one for the crank, behind the timing cover crank seal.

Mine is toast.

Thanks PB

There is no better feeling in the world than putting in a new chain assembly and after you get everything buttoned up, noticing the oil slinger sitting on the corner of your workbench.

I hate to do the dealer thing, but if thats the only place to get it.

Hey Max, If it is still sitting there, Can I have It.

Glad to know that I have not been the only one to do that.

I know that feeling.

I'm so lazy I've run the car for about 8 years that way. The front oil seal didn't even leak the first year.

Check your timing cover. If it has an angled bar over the crank ring (see pic below), you don't need one.

"You should have one or the other, not both." Quote from How to Rebuild Your Small Block Ford.

My motor, which was factory original before I violated it, had both the angled bar and the oil slinger.

Thanks Much My old 302 need is I checked the cover and there is no baffle edge on it.
No wonder the front seal was pumping oil like Saudi arabia.
