Is there much money to be made from parting out totaled cars? In my area there's been an influx of late model F-Bods and Mustangs that are salvaged (from Katrina most likely) but are unbelievably cheap. Im just looking for opinions on the subject?

it's tuff.....cause it will take a while to sell the parts. Ebay charges a ton and selling thru mustang For sale sections takes forever to get paid as you will notice that when you list something for sale you wont get a reponse for a while and then when someone sez they want the part they will not send the payment until or month later or never or when ever they think you will sell the part to someone else....I got a garage full of parts right now....starters, intakes, interior pieces, window motors etc..got a hatch, got like 5 hoods...and it's all taking up valuable space.

maybe give it a try but dont invest too much like I did.

it is gonna be very time consuming, like said above. you can make money if you can get them in fairly good shape, but dirt cheap.

OT: slow95gt, can you email me pics of your 86 to nates331gt@yahoo.com
thanks
