So I bought replacement door bezels (with a night gloss black finish) to replace my busted door bezels with. The part I am talking about is the piece that goes over the switches. It then swoops down to a little pocket for you to grab when opening and closing.
ANYWAY....
The drivers side one went in real nice. My old one had a broken clip at the bottom so it was loose and rattled. It went in nice and tight and the clip grabbed the metal frame inside as it should. Not so with the passenger side!
Like my old one, the clip does not seem to reach the socket. So it cannot "lock down". This leaves my passenger door bezel all wobbly and crappy when you yank on it to open and close the door.
Does anyone know if this is just a design flaw? Or is my door sub-structure hosed? I can't believe Ford would not use the same system for both sides. Especially since it worked so nicely on the drivers side.
