Passenger side aribag question

does anyone know if a passenger side air bag from a 1994 can fit in a 2004 mustang? They look the same, but I was told thet the Pig tail is different. Is that true? Has anyone changed one out?

It'll fit, doubt the harness are the same though.

The 1994 had the old style air bag. The 2004 has the newer second generation air bag.

Which year did they switch from the old stylr to the new style air bag? keep in mind im talking about the passenger airbag only. thanks for any input.

At least one change happened for 1998. I am not sure, if there was yet another since.
