passenger side mirror wiring

I have a 95 Cobra that has a problem with passenger side power mirror not functioning. I have checked the switch with a test light and have found voltage coming from the yellow, purple and green wires when switched to the (R) side and toggled appropriately . There is also voltage to the working drivers side mirror wires, yellow,blue, and red. When checking voltage on the 3 wires at the passenger mirror connector in the door with a test light I get no voltage, but the mirror motor moves. I have traced this back to a connector to the upper left of the fuse box that is EXTREMELY hard to reach just as the wires from the drivers door enter the car. Is it possible that the connecter is causing this or am I missing something else?

When tracing the 3 wires (yellow,purple, green) that send voltage to the passenger side mirror I receive voltage on my test light until right after a connector under the drivers side dash. On the other side of this connector, when I stick it with my test light there is no voltage, but the mirror DOES move. It seems like the polarity is reversed. I am expecting it to function like the drivers mirror where 12+ is sent thru the wire to the mirror. Is this assumption correct? This is a recent problrem and I can't see the connector being an issue since its nearly impossible to get to in the first place. Where else might the problem originate from?

Actually I have found that the yellow wire to the passenger mirror has 12V+ all the way to the mirror, however the purple and green wires when stuck with a test light DO have voltage but not much as indicated by the dim light. Also these 2 wires when stuck with a test light DO cause the mirror to move.
