i think this is the route i want to go for my intercooler set up but just wanted to see how the people with this kit like it. i have a vortec so i know i will have to do some little mods to make it work but that is no issue. did you see big air temp drops? how much boost did you lose? where is the best place to buy this kit? how much did you pay? easy to install? just wondering how well designed it really is and is it worth the extra money. please dont tell me to build my own kit cause i could and i already know it's cheaper. just want to know how people like this kit before i make a decision. thank you :SNSign:

I did the Paxton and love it. I didn't do a DIY one mostly because I didn't have the time or the garage to fab up a kit.

On the day it was tuned my inlet temps were only 10* over ambient temps. As far as boost goes I don't know how much I lost since I pullied down and added a power pipe at the same time.

lol saleen2001 i am the guy that bought your used intercooler kit a while back. i may still use that one but i am going to reroute the pipes a little bit to get rid of some bends. i just was wondering if the guys that had the paxton kit liked it

wow, yours has been down for a while, huh??

Paxton makes a nice kit but it's just not worth the money IMO. my new setup was a little over $600 with the Tial BOV and everything welded. it is routed the same way as the kit you have now.

so hows the progress going on your car?

my car is done for now. i just didnt put the intercooler on yet. i got impatiant last summer:D all the mods are in my sig. i dont quite have the money yet for a longblock but maybe next year so for now i have a really safe tune and making decent power. nothing like your monster!! i will keep you updated on if i use your old one or not. how much boost did you lose through the setup you sold me? j/w :SNSign:
