When i was younger i just saved and worked OT and would allow myself to buy 1 mod every 3 months for @$500 or several if they added up.
I work and pay cash for mine.. I finally got to order cams
2 weeks of saving, ordered cams.. 1 more week, ordered valvesprings.. 2 more weeks, the tuner.. 1 more week the install.. 1 more week and the dyno tune.. took a little while, but i made it happen
I have a decent paying job and I put away a lot of money into my bank account. Building a bad ass mustang isn't something you usually do over night. My cobra has had a forged engine with low compression built for a turbo going on over two years now. It was killer not having a power adder on the car but I was not going to leave my bank account near empty to do it. Until now it was not the right time to buy the turbo kit for it.
