pcv question

Would not using the pcv valve screen cause any problems or complications?

I would put one in there. It is designed to filter/slow any oil from getting into the intake.

If one were to use a different mounting method for the valve or run a separator, etc, that might help make up for the lack of the screen.

Tim et al are correct - run the screen.
