has anyone relocated their pcv valve to the valve cover? i read something somewhere that people have done that to address the issue we have where oil gets sucked up through the pcv.

the 1996 and later models have the pcv in the valve cover.

In the process of doing it right now. I blocked off the pcv port in the lower intake. Just picked up the d.s. valve cover yesterday from the welder. Had a bung welded in there and have a 90 degree an fitting coming off of there and it will lead to a catch can. It will be a little while until I finish the set up. Should work good though

do you have to block off the bung in the lower intake? I've got boost, and i hasn't had to. Although, maybe i'm leaking or something...

Are you talking about mounting it on the LH valve cover where the breather is on the RH valve cover? Otherwise it would completely defeat the purpose of the PCV system.

For forced induction where a blown PCV (supra, TC, etc) doesnt cut it, I am thinking that running a closed breather would work (you dont want all that oilly air going all over). Run the discharge line to the separator..................

You would be losing the proactive benefit of the PCV's vacuum, but that aint all so terribly important on forced induction.

How about seeing what guys on the turbo forum use?

Not that any of this helps any..............

Good luck.
