Does it matter which port on the upper manifold the pcv valve hose is connected too? I want to connect it to the T port on the corner of the manifold instead of one of the ports in the middle of the manifold.

Whats up with this setup he has it connected to both ports:

Also, i am trying to clean up and get rid of any unused vacuum lines on the manifold. When i removed my upper manifold I notice a vacuum line connected to the T port on the corner of the manifold and the other end is connected to one of the vacuum ports on the center of the manifold. I have heard this line is for balancing the vacuum between the two ports but it really doesn't make sense to me. Is this line neccessary?

Just don't connect the PVC valve to the same port as the vacuum tree.

If you do, there is an opportunity for oil vapor to make it's way into all the vacuum operated control systems on the car, like the brake booster.

I have elimated my vacuum tree. I don't use any of the ports on it except the brake booster and I have that connect directly to the manifold. But thanks for the info.
