Looking for someone to measure pedal length from pivot point to center of pad. Then pivot to booster linkage. Can someone measure it?
I'm at 9.25/2.25=4.11 with the cobra

I am upgrading brakes on dads cobra and I am using the caliper bore area/ms area ratio of 14-17:1. I am currently at 15.8:1 with a 1998 1.062" Mustang MC.

@Mustang5L5
Suggested check the geometry between the Fox and this Cobra pedals if all else is equal I should be good.
Thank you,
Scott

I believe the 87-93 pedal is 13” with the rod attachment down 3.5”. Still looking to confirm this.

13/3.5= 3.7 pedal ratio.

That’s pretty close, with the cobra pedal having a bit more leverage than the mustang pedal. Manual brake setups usually have a ratio of 5 to 6 and run a 7/8” bore MC typically

Your prob be ok with the 1 1/16” MC as well. This is prob one of those situations where it comes down to owner preference. Fortunately both the 1” 93 cobra and 1 1/16” MC use the same brake fitting sizes so it’s an easy interchange of the GT Mc proves to be too soft or the stroke too long

Thanks Mike! I will preceed just as you stated with the 1 1/16" and if he does not like the feel we will swap to a 1" mc.

What I meant was you had mentioned manual brakes on pedal ratios. I was just stating, this does indead have a booster.

Anyway thanks again Mike!
