I've had on my O/R h-pipe on my 96' GT for about two weeks now and whenever my car is on all I smell is unburned gas. I know it's normal for it to smell since the cats are no longer on but now I don't drive with the windows down. BTW I have a magnaflow cat-back...does this seem normal to you guys? Would changing back to flowmasters help this problem. Let me know. Thanks.

hmm..un burned gas..the reason for that would be no cats..cats trap those gasses...get over it basically, it smells great

check and make sure that you don't have a leak first of all....second a little smell of gas is normal but you shouldn't be smelling it inside the car you more than likely have a leak

u probably have a leak at the manifolds. if u do try using some spacers and tighten up the bolts on whichever sie is leaking. that might help.

My pipes smelled pretty bad for the first month. After everything was broken in and cleared out, its not nearly as bad.

You may be running rich. The cats were hiding this fact.
