After I spend that much money, I probably wouldn't even want to paint it and put it on the car.

I mean end of the day you have same result with $50 junkyard trunk lid.

Cool piece of NOS, but nobody is paying that for a trunk lid when plenty of good usable stock out there already

He just needs to add "I know what this stuff's worth" and "I don't need to sell so I don't care if it sits" to the ad

he also forg to to say "rare" and "low miles"

Seriously. its a frikking trunk lid from a fox body. They made thousands of these cars. It is not like NOS 8 lug rims off a Pontiac or GM snowflake heads, or a Saleen intake.

This must be the one Ford dipped in gold before applying the spray primer.

The only way to know for sure is to shake it horizontally and see if any pixie dust remains, fall out.

That guy Lee has parts for sale for years there with crack head prices. I guess he figures some one wants it bad enough.

Yeah but no word what he sold it for. Said he gave it to his buddy for a good price. That could be $1400....or $400.

As with most items most people sell for outrageous prices, that doesn't necessarily mean they get it.

That's the problem, people look at what the part is selling for before listing but not what it sold for!
