People with powermaster alternators did you have a problem with pulley alignment?

I did a mock up of my 140 amp powermaster alternator on my stock alternator bracket and noticed that the pulley doesnt not line up with my waterpump and crank pulley. I notice that there is a round disc that is between the pulley and the fan blade of the alternator. Can I take out this disc in order to get the alignment I need or swap out the pulley for a stock one. Thanks.

I have the 100 amp Power Master Alt. Mine was supposed to have both pulleys with it, but only had the serpentine pulley. So I used my stock pulley. No problems. There is no disk on mine. The case may be different on the 140 amp Alt.
