people with solid motor mounts.......help

so, does anyone else with solid motor/trans mounts get engine vibrations through-out the rpm range? im not talking about the rattle at idle either. i get different vibrations at different rpms. i dont recall it before the mounts, but then again, i just rebuilt the motor when i put the new mounts in.

Solid motor mounts will give you nothing BUT vibrations dude. They are solid, they transfer all vibrations from the motor directly into the car.

Unless your car is 100% track duty, I see no reason to ever run solid motor mounts.

Poly mounts will prevent almost as much deflection but without the harsh vibrations.

yea i wouldnt do solid unless you only drive it a couple times a month or just a track car!

I have solid mounts on my DD and the only time I have a problem with vibration is when I let off over 75 and coast other than that I dont really notice any vibrations, of course I havent driven the car without the solids mounts so I couldnt tell you what its like with out them. Hope this helps
