My 93 F-150 4x4, 64k miles.

Not the best gas mileage but with all the snow I get, nothing I can't handle with the truck so far!

I have a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 V6. I like the functionality of it, but it is slow as all get out and pretty boring. Since I need 4 doors, I'm honestly considering the Pontiac G8 GT because of the crazy deals. A 360 HP Sedan? Man, that would be fun.

man don't get a G8, GM is going to eliminate Pontiac - RIP - and you may not be able to find parts if they go bankrupt Stick with Ford......

i'm a fan of those chargers every since they came out. Almost bought one instead of the Stang when I was looking for a car... just couldn't make a deal on one. For a 4-door car those are sweet. Just wish they offered a manual instead of automatic

edit: just looked at your pic of that charger.....

I think I am going to get a Ford Explorer... They are offering some amazing deals in incentives!

I test drove a 07 Trailblazer SS. I loved it! once I saw the MPG was 11.5 on the digital reading.... I was like, HELL NO!

Jeep SRT8 = way outa my price range freggin awesome truck tho

I bought the 04 for a DD. It goes through the snow just fine with Blizzaks. I realized that I was just too bored not DD a Mustang and the Notch has never seen winter and barely has seen rain.

So I'm thinking about purchasing a second car to use as a daily driver and winter vehicle. I thought it'd be fun to see what everyone on here recommends as a good car to go with the Mustang. So what's everyone suggest?

Personally I'm looking at a Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT with a 5 speed manual, or possibly an Evo X or the new 2010 Fusion Sport with AWD. All would be good winter cars but I'm not sure what would "go best" with my Mustang...

Sounds like everyone wants you to go midsized SUV.
I love the new Subarus... The AWD is pretty fun
It still gets good MPG and handles great in the snow.
I would get something like a 4WD truck or SUV.... or an AWD car.
The fusion sounds nice too

I'm with you. I have a 2007 WRX that I use to commute. Good mileage, easy to park, great in the snow and gets up & gos if you want it to.

I've never met anyone that doesn't like their Subaru and here in upstate NY there are LOTS of Subies. That's a big part of the reason why I'm thinking of picking one of those up. I'm still VERY tempted to get a second Mustang or other muscle/sports car for a winter car but I would still feel terrible about driving it around in the winter like I do with my '07 GT.
