Performance Chip or not

I have been looking at various sites for a chip for my 2006 GT and ran across this site Ford Mustang Performance Chips - Amazing Ford Mustang Chips

i also found this one FORD MUSTANG GF Peformance Chip

They claim a 4-7 mpg and 60 hsp with a 20 minute install. Has anyone used this chip? What do you have in your stang?

, people are having MIL thrown w/the more costly tunes, do you really want to cheap out on a tune?! Check Diablo or SCT, if tunes is what you want. Really you don't need to start messing w/the computer unless you start adding Heads, Cams, forced induction, larger fuel injectors, so on and so forth. Save your cash and get a stiffer suspension.

Those are some wild claims and in no way possible. I'd run far far away from that site and get a reputable tuner (SCT/diablo) if you are interested in tuning your car.

Thats complete garbage and you will never see even a fraction of those claims. Like already stated, stick with Diablo or SCT.

SCT handheld tuner.

Those would absolutely fry your computer sooner or later. Stick with a handheld, preferably something custom so that you can get your tunes updated as you upgrade.
