performance distributor or MSD

what distributor is better. msd or the performance. accel is junk. popped my stock one in started right up

I'm not sure what you're asking??? MSD is a performance distributor. But either way, I wouldn't wast my money and would replace it with a stock one....which you already did.

my stock one is realy in bad shape, causing idle surge.you it has alot of play in it.i bought the accel becuase it was the only distributor that stated it was for a automatic.the msd does not does it matter.

i like my msd really nice quality, even on the electronics on the inside, was the only thing that solved my missing at high rpm.

The stock dizzy is more than adequate. They use the same pick up as the MSD, maybe that should be reversed.....

Look under the hoods of some Outlaw cars, and youll find a stock efi dizzy

yeah those msd pro billet tfi dizzies are like what 269.99 through summit and 300 through anywhere else. is there another aftermarket dizzy that is cheaper? i thought accel made one, does mallory make one?

Crane makes a billet one now, at least as good as the MSD. Not sure on the price... yes, Mallory makes one too. Haven't seen many of them in stangs though.

stock, msd is known to burn out too. you could do the DUI ignitions thing and run hei or make your own hei ignition. but i think that is for carbs so use stock dizzy
