Aight Let me first of all say i ordered my new maf(pro-m 80mm) thats calibrated for 24lb injectors instead of the stock one. Aight well my car is blowing oil out of the bank of the intake. We read over the instrutions and we were missing a piece called pcv baffle i was wondering is this the problem?

on a further note i race an 00" stock z28 he beat me by a car and then i race a 99" t/a both cars were 6spd i race the z from a roll in 1st and the t/a from a roll in 3rd i beat the t/a by half a car =) but lost to the z =(. How much performance are these problems causing me to loose??

Thanx in advance

Yes, this is the problem. Without the baffle the oil is pulled out into the intake due to a pressure gradient.

I Don't think the car's performance is affected by the PVC baffle thing, and it loosing oil, from what i've read, oil goes through the PVC valve because the crank has to get rid of any air. The PVC baffle stops most of the oil (alot of it) infact it just happened to me this week, but even when I din't have the PVC valve on I din't notice a difference in performance wize.

But you need that baffle in that lower intake.

Absolutely. I thought you said your new MAF is calibrated to match your injectors.
I'll give you a sample here. One day late last summer while my car was on the dyno we took my 24 lb MAF off and tried a stock 19 lb'er. The car lost 40 rwhp.
