which is the better intake? i have both and my car currently has the street heat on it now but i was thinking of swapping it out with my perfomer. the car has 3.73,e cam ,full exhaust,65 mm t body,and a set of edelbrock heads and a n.o.s. 100 shot coming. thanks
I have ported Edelbrock heads and have run two intakes on these heads. I ran a ported TFS street and now the Edelbrock RPM.
I liked the TFS street a lot, car ran great with it. Made 29x hp and ran 12.4s @ 109.
I like the RPM intake (untouched) better. Car makes more power and runs better ETs. More than just the intake was swapped BTW.
With that being said, I would run/keep the Edelbrock. In the future you could add the RPM upper to the Performer lower. I know the same goes for the TFS, it can use the Track upper but I like the Edelbrock intake with these heads based on my experience.
