I'm looking for a good shop in Phx, AZ, who can do engine work. I'm also looking to do a leak down test on my motor. If anyone can recommend someone with quality, please let me know.

Duffee Motorsports is who I use. I've known them for four or five years now. They built a 5.0 ranger for my brother, They did work on my Stang my brother also had then do the mods on his Lightning. I've have some bad luck with the other shops I've used but not with these guys. I don't have to worry about their work. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Scot
Well, it's a bit of a drive, but IMO, it's worth it. I use Larry Peto's shop, Larry's Engine & Marine in north Tucson. http://www.larrysengine.com/ He's built my boat engine (878 hp) and several friends as well as many of the high horsepower boats in Havasu from 500 to over 1000 hp. He's does cars as well. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.
