Could someone please photoshop off my emblems, along with the upper and lower side "air vents"? Just curious as to what it looks like without. Thanks!!

Its not you, its the current version of the board... Just go to your UserCP, click on Attachments (bottom left), locate and clikc on the pic. This should launch it in a new window... then copy the url for that image and paste it into this thread. Then we should be able to at least click on the url to get the page with the image on it.

Oh, and if you want this, save it soon, because I've gotten in the habbit of deleting pics I post that aren't tech related fairly quickly...

Hey, forgot about this post I made.... thanks for the photoshop. You know, I'm not sure. Naked, maybe. But ya know I really am a fan of the clean look. I'm not up on the "bolt on" look. I'm sure I'll keep the vents, but wanted to see what it looked like without. Can do without he emblems though...

You guys are the greatest. How about making my car black? And make the center section (not the chrome ring and cap) of the wheels black also? I think someone did this a couple of years ago but the lighting or shading or color wasn't very believable. And I had different wheels back then. Could one of you pros make it believable? That would be the coolest....

I tried, but I couldn't make it black...maybe a wiser photochopper than me could do it.

Yeah, black is tough. Someone did my car in silver and it was perfect. Surely someone in here has the skill for black!!

Without the vents it kind of looks like an early 70s Camaro/Trans-Am (if you look hard from the windshield back).

That must be where GM got their styling ideas from , they stole them from Ford!!

Well here you go. I can't figure out how to get the reflection color to show, but not the car color.

Just not me...

I like to be different. And I know lime gold isn't everywhere. Yes, I know black is common too.

But the fact is the car needs to be painted one of these years and I have no clue what color to paint it.

Yellow? Orange? Red?

NO clue.

Clean! I agree. I'm a big fan of clearing off emblems, door handles, etc...

For a while I was contemplating painting the chrome "v8" and "XLT" badges on my explorer red to match the rest of the truck.... what about painting all the emblems to match the car, they wouldn't completely disapear, but they wouldn't stand out...

A little off topic, but hope this helps someone else.

I know what you mean. I tried uploading a picture last week and even though the window said it was uploaded it wasn't, then I started having all kinds of problems with my pc. Strange events started happening. Looks like something corrupted all my .gif and .jpeg files. An error message appeared and couldn't get rid of it, even rebooting didn't help. Formatted the hard drive and reloaded the OS, but still had problems bringing up pictures. Turned out it was the software for the modem. Removed modem, reloaded OS, plugged in modem and installed software, now okay.
