Excuse my photochop skills. Anyone ever do something that looks anything like this?

Any comments? Looks a little odd, but I think it looks better than stock
I'm interested in finding a way to make my mustang look more like a mustang.

That actually doesn't look half bad but I'd like to keep a foxbody a foxbody. I usually first recognize one by the headlights.

no, but I see where they have a kit to make a 99-04 look like an '05. That looks good though, but maybe a billet grille.

i like it, different, but look at the capri like wazzle said, looks really similar, maybe you can make something out of the capri front end to look like that, someone on here has a dark red, or maroon fox with the capri front, looks badass

yeah, kinda looks like an 05. I like the form factor of the fox, but I also like old mustangs, but I'm not too into ford escorts. The new 05 mustang is a big fat bloated pig, so I definately wouldn't get an 05 just to have an 05 front look. heck, I think it looks good without the two inner grill things too. Your right about the capri. very nice lookin, but the older ones with the circle headlights are nicer. Gotta have the circle headlights

There was a company a few years ago, that had a "kit" to do that to the fos body. It included different fenders, front facia, hood, tails, etc...looked pretty good. I don't have the MM&FF mag any longer to reference to...maybe somebody around here can dig one up??

i think it's ugly lol diff... but i wouldn't drive that everyday - maybe to a car show to show ppl that kind of customization, but maybe do something w/ the ugly bumper on the bottom, smooth it out, or anything lol

You seem to be really good with photoshop but that looks gross IMO. Nice job with the chop though.

looks like a vw rabbit... wouldn't be hard to do, especially the headlights and foglights. The hood, you might be able to use an older style hood that doesn't come so far down to start with. but i wouldn't do it to something i owned

It's kind of like putting on alot of ketchup onto a very good tasting meal... Also where the hell are the round headlight Capri, that doesn't exist?!

I'd start with the stock 93 Cobra front end, put two round lights on the bottom facia together like the 67 GT500's. Carefull not just two lights mounted on a bracket, they should be molded into the bumper, maybe a stalker bottom would work best because factory fog holes would have to be covered. The hood makes one hell of a difference too. Get a mach1 hood or dump a nice '83 scoop on a stock hood. Get the rest of the 93 Cobra body kit, lower it, and slap on some black Bullet wheels with chrome lip. Window tinting and remove the 5.0 badge to make room for 67 style pony emblems with the "302" markings.

As for the wing, I'd keep the stock GT wing, maybe try and fit the 83 taillights (they sort of look like tri-bars).

That's an idea...

Remember: The fox body Mustangs weren't meant to "look" like a Mustang, they continued the 60's heritage with a contemporary design (new design for 80's just like the pony car was new in 64) and continued the spirit with a variety of engine choices so just about anyone can afford a Mustang.
