Was wondering if someone could take this pic and throw some blacked out TT2s (sorta like bullitts, but the black ones not the gray... though... i dunno, maybe gray would look okay as well) on it, and compare the look to that of normal (all chrome) TT2s and Cragar SSs.

edit - preferrably 15 or 16" wheels. The current ones are 14. Also, pics of other cars with these wheels on is welcome.

Thanks

I've wondered the same thing myself lately. I made these a while ago while I was pondering dumping money into a fastback. It's some guy's project off svtperf.com and I think it's an awesome stang. Also the picture was of good quality to work with.

First pic is with the ttII's spokes blacked out.

2nd pic is with the deep dish black bullitts pasted completely over the ttII's.

I prefer the blacked out ttII because of the lip, it has more depth, at least in a measly photoshop. I don't think anyone has deep dish bullitts on a classic yet so who knows, they might be the next hot wheel if they can ever fit them on, fat chance.

that car looks sick...

hrmm, i'll have to go over the svtp and post this up, see if someone can help me there. I dunno, I used to want the chromed ones, but now I"m thinking if get rid of some of my trim peices and use the blacked out ones, then drop it a bit, mine could look pretty mean.

BTW. I saw TT IIs with that black finish(anthracite?) on a Concept Dodge RAM at the SEMA show. They look very good.

(the angle is off on the wheels, but I couldnt find any pics of TTII's from a straight on angle.)

I should have told you that BOTH pics are chops, the first pic has the spokes PAINTED, they're not that way in real life dude.

yeah, i thought they were more like an opaque, dull black mineral type color, not nearly as glossy. I think those might look better.

If I were to put them on, I would probably remove a lot of the trim on my car like I said. Dunno if you can photochop that kind of stuff, but eh... if anyone wants to give it a shot with some trim removed and the mineral black TT2s i'd appreciate it.

A while back a buddy of mine photochopped some 17" TTII's on my '68. It's not the model year you're looking for but you'll probably get the general idea.

Geez, I thought I'd done this photochop before, but then I found the one I had done previously was for someone else... Anyway, here is the one I did of your car (est. 16" black bullitts with the car lowered a couple inches):

This is the previous chop I did for someone, but I forget who:

Hope this helps...
