how are you guys launching at the line? I don't have a transbrake and I'm running ET Streets.
I have a transbrake and we run a pro-tree. I stage and press the transbrake button. Floor it when both cars are staged. Release the transbrake button as soon as I see the first hint of a yellow light coming on. Then, hang on.

Why launch at idle? Shouldnt you bring it up to its max stall speed? Launching at idle is not good for a car like my 66 that doesnt make any power until 3-3.5K LOL. But for whetever reason the hughes converter doesnt seem to stall much past 1500ish...by 2K its spinning the tires LOL(3K stall...or supposed to be). I really need a new tranny, next I think ill get a 3500 stall.

Ive tried both ways, flash stall and foot brake stall, the flash seems to pull harder off the line 4 some reason. I could only muster a 13.4 with foot braking as well. Try them both and see what works best.
