in order to install PI cams and a PI intake do i need to install PI heads?
or can i just install the intake and cams and be fine? what gain would i get out of this? any advice would be appreciated thanks
lots of these threads lately, use the search feature. The PI intake can be put on NPI heads but you need some good application of RTV in places or use adapter plates.
You can get the FMS performance intake made for your car with all the parts you'll need on ebay for $285.00. You can pick new cams up on ebay for around $50.00. People swap these cams out of the pi heads for the crane or comp cams. Depending on mileage you should change your valve springs being that your doing the cams...especially with an increase in lift. Do the valve stem seals too.
