I will be doing a pi head swap and putting comp cams 262 in a 98 gt 5spd. I know i will need a tune but i don't know how soon i will be able to get my car to the dyno. So my question is can i drive my car little or would you guys think it be best to not drive it until i can get my car to a dyno?

Thanks
Luke

I haven't tuned mine yet, but i only drove it a few times and not for long, I already have it apart again for some bigger upgrades. I personally wouldn't drive very long untuned because I would be afraid of running lean and doing damage.

The landfills add methane to the air so I can run more timing.

buy an adjustable regulator and fatten it up until tune. take it to the track and adjust for best mph. then add a few pounds/^2 inch. you have the best fuel system... use it.

then alter it for best economy on street and write the numbers down. get tune when possible.
