Just put the motor back in my 96 SOHC GT, The PI heads were completly redone done with new valves.. Fired it right up runs fine and firing on all 8.. Now for the bad, the lifers are ticking very very loud like they are not pumping up with oil.. The oil pressure is good. What is happening? Checked and saw plenty of oil under the valve covers...Engine has run maybe 10 mins total so far...I have comp cams I dont know if that has anything to do with it.. All I know is that is was NOT tapping like that before I took it apart and it has the same cams ...Any ideas anybody? ...Any help is great thanks!

I got some tap after my cam install Not like PTV but more of a clackity clack. Sounded like the injectors but it eventually smoothe out. What Comps do you have?
