Does anybody know what is the cheapest place to get PI heads, I have found a place here, http://www.steeda.ca/catalogue_product_type.asp?id=379 where you can get a pair for $900. What do you guys think.
The stock PI heads have swirl dams and I think the stage 1 removes them. I could be wrong and someone will say so if I am.support10 said:This might be a dumb question, but is the only difference between the stock PI heads and the PI Stage 1 heads the polished intake and exhaust ports?
Are the stock PI heads just smooth not polished??![]()

Computer too?2002BLGT said:thats about normal price , but alot of the older mustangs are getting up in mileage , I have been on the look out for a PI engine to build for my car later on so I dont have as much down time between engine swaps and was quoted 1350 for a complete PI engine , TB to oil pan and all accessories including AC compressor with only 42K miles on it , seems to me if you had alot of miles on an engine a PI motor swap would be a better deal .
