Does the exhaust volume/tone change at all when you just swap to a pi intake.

Thanks

Nothing noticable. Might be a little deeper at idle.

When i went from a dorman POS autozone intake on my car (previous owner installed it) to port matched PI intake, we swear the car sounded alot louder and deeper, and it definetly responds better to mods and the throttle too.

Exactly... same here. I hear different things from people.. i had the dorman on my nonpi and went to a ford pi and the car was loud @ heck.

Anyways back to the topic. Im having a feeling the dorman makes the car more tame.

I see you had a 99+ GT with a dorman... though.

Yea because i believe 99's had pi intakes, but i dont think they had aluminum crossovers yet... i could be wrong but im assuming what happened is the old plastic one broke and someone went cheap and put a dorman on
