Hi there,

happy new year everybody!

right down to business, apart from

www.hiperformancesolutions.com ( i really think the model on there website is fit)

does anybody make the adpator plates that you use when your doing the PI intake swap on an NPI car?

tried the swap with sealent and it leaked, would rather put the adaptors on the car!

or has anybody used theese before??

cheers guys

Could you pm me the price or post it

I'm the same as you, I'd like to do it and not have to worry about leaks later on down the road. Don't need their entire kit though

Ah...have someone here buy them and ship them to you...

Note on the Livernois plates though. The intake sits higher and may cause clearance issues. It is why they sell the whole kit with the intake shaved. I have some homemade plates that are not as thick as the Livernois ones but I have problems with the air cleaner hose getting under the strut tower.

you might be about to come my new best friend!

i dont have a strut brace and so wont have any issues with the air cleaner hose!

do you perchance have a set of thoose adapters to sell? if you do my dad owns a stainless stell fabrication compnay, and with a template to go from we could probably start making loads and sell them to everybody doing the swap!

let me know if ur interested?

98 mustangs didn't come with the STB so im not worried about the clearance issue. I just don't want any leaks in the future after the swap, and i'd feel more comfortable with an adaptor versus just me putting down a bead of RTV.

I'm not real sure of my options right now, and I guess I will take some time to think about it if I can't find some adaptor plates for a decent price. I am currently worried about the PI cam swap first.

Si,

why not have the intake manifold shaved, that way you can keep the runners the same length...

or you can just buy the PI heads I have here in the garage .......
