Does anyone have any feedback regarding the two? Which is brighter, etc? Lastly, does anyone have ANY pics of the either of the two light bulbs? I'd love to see how bright/white they shine. Yeah, I did a search and got no similiar results.

Thanks,
Matt

From what Ive heard, PIAA will be brighter and should last longer. They will be more expensive also. I cant say from personal experience as Ive never used neither of the two. The High intensity bulbs I have in my headlights now are from Street Glow. They've been in there for about 2 years now and still going strong.

Wow I've heard just the opposite regarding the PIAAs and the Silverstars, supposedly PIAAs are over priced and are around the same brightness ast Silverstars. I personally have never used the PIAAs but I do have Silverstars. They are an improvement but not much. I really wish I could get HIDs for the front.

I'm not sure what the big deal is. I have the regular GE 9007's and they are plenty bright. Now if you goal is to blind oncoming traffic then I guess that's your perrogative. I don't see how thye are worth 50 bucks a piece.

My friend had PIAA's in his car (9007 bulbs) and had 2 blow in a few months. Replaced under warranty but it's a hassle. Plus they cost $40 a BULB.

He saw my Silverstars and got a pair for $40 ($20 a piece). He put in 1 Silverstar in where a blown PIAA was and said the Silverstar was brighter. He hasn't had it blow in 7 months so far.

The Silverstars are white at night, that's why I like them. I don't know if there was a brightness change.

(Passenger fog was misaligned. Silverstar headlights and fogs)

Headlight Bulbs

I have used PIAA bulbs and they are very good. I now am using Silverstars and they are just as good and maybe a bit better and cost half as much. I recommend Silverstars highly.

The s.s. are a clearer brighter WHITE light. If you are looking for something tinted or colored look elsewhere.

I like my Silverstars. They didn't improve visability much but it gives off a crisper white light.

I got mine directly through Sylvanias website. Right now the fog light bulbs for our cars is on backorder for 2 months (893ST is the part number). I think the headlight bulbs were $40 or $45 for a set and the fogs were something like $22 each.

They do make fogs. I bought a set when they first came out $44 shipped and they worked for a month or two. but then they blew. I called Sylvania, they said it was a manufacturer's defect and they would replace them for free after they fixed the issue. It was 7 weeks ago when I first called. I called 2 weeks ago and they said 6-7 more weeks until they were fixed.

They really are bright. The pic I attached above is Silverstar fogs and headlights. Very clean white shine.

My headlights are like JonJon's only mine have a light bluish tint to them. I think mine are very slightly brighter.

I have the silverstars in my daily driver. I drive country roads at night coming home from work and the light compared to the old bulbs is great. They are very white with just a very small hint of blue.
