I'd like to so how the removeable cowls are set up. If I decide to go into my 67 for repair, I'm thinking of making the top removeable so I can clean out any debris now and then. Need to know what 69 and later ones look like for ideas.

Thanks,

D

Invest in a pressure washer, car cover or simply build a garage. The cowl is an integral part of the body structure on most Fords so it wouldn't be easy to make this part removeable.

I have a carport. But I actually drive my old cars on a regular basis. So it will be parked wherever whenever (even under trees) and leaves, pine needles and other crap will get in there.

I was thinking about the cowl being part of the unibody structure, and think some bracing could be put in place make up for it.
