Picking up a new mustang

I used to post here a little over a year ago
I had a 94 cobra with a forged 306 and a KB on it.

I got a lightning to replace it, and then a superduty.
Well, i stumbled upon a 4runner that i had planned to wheel. But, im now moving to cali, so the plans changed.

Its an 89 LX Convertible
Motor is out of a 93 as is the trans. Whole care has ~80,000 on it.
Mods are Edelbrock 65mm TB, bbk CAI, March underdrive pullies, mac shorties, mac 2.5" exhaust, centerforce clutch, auburn posi, 31 spline shafts, 3.73's, 6 point cage, subframe connectors, 5 lug conversion with 95 spindles and brakes, stainless brake lines, poly motor mounts, 17" bullits and i think thats it.

I plan to put a set of GT-40 heads, intake, e-cam, and 24lb injectors i have at home in it. Along with a cal'd maf. It'll be my DD down in san diego.

are notch back decklids bolt ins on the verts?

Looks very nice, as did the 4X4, get that roll cage coated:nice:

Welcome back to reality man. Just kiddin, cause that 4runner looked like it had a real nice suspension setup! Youre new vert looks nice too.

I kno verts and coupes have diff hinges for the decklid, not sure if they bolt up in the same place tho.

thanks guys, i'll look into the cage. And I guess i'll have to find a wrecked fox, and check the truck lid
