Tim,

She looks awesome. She is really looking good. Are you still happy you went from the 01 to this fox?

well, overall I am. I miss the fact the 01 wasnt a rattlebox like the fox chasis can be, but hten again its 15 yrs older. I love the fact Im not paying an arm and a leg anymore, I love the fact if it breaks, Im not broke. I love that I got the only fox saleen running around the lower portion of the state (i know where a gorgeous red one is, but its a garage queen). I miss the power of my '01, but I know this has that potential easily.

Im a bit torn on the overall decision b/c I loved my '01, just not its headaches and financial burden it put on me. Plus I considered it the sexiest mustang i'd ever lay eyes on (mineral grey with chrome wheels and the hood)

I agree.

The foxbody is getting back to basics for sure. The one thing that you already mentioned is you can make that fox just as fast or faster than your 01 and not wreck the collectability of the 87.

Funny that you mention about that mineral grey. I was torn over the mineral grey or satin silver when I bought my 02 coupe 02-0340. I went with the silver only because there was a guy in town with the mineral grey ( my first choice ).

What red one is a garage queen Tim??? Hey the pictures down by the Battery was a great Idea. I always loved it down there. Last year when I took Yvonne to Charleston I had to visit the Battery, and it brought back lots of great memories. By the way, I finally got my rear valance switched over. Randy painted my 87 valance and we installed it today. I just have to get the decals from Mark to finish it. What do you think?

George, a friend of mine here named Norman has an '89 with Gold Stripes, Gold 5 spokes, Tan interior, all the original working stuff, perfect paint, perfect everything. Has about 30k original miles and he's the original owner. Its quite a site, I've tried to get him on the internet, but apparently he knows how to build a house but turning on the computer is another world to him lol. Good guy, goes to some mustang weeks, and I'm trying to get him to come to the saleen nationals

Tim,

Again, I think that grey with the new paint is really nice. How many did they build in that color for the foxbody? Do you have any idea?

That's Patti.

Bummer that Liz is gone because she had that kind of info in her head from memory.

Notice, NO HOLES! And the four rectangular holes are now closed as well. Randy closed all the tiny holes that were drilled all over the valance. Randy is the best Painter in the world to me. I wouldn't know what to do without him. We put it on with the 3M tape and no screws except for the fender wells, just as it should be. It went on flawlessly.
