PICS From Yesterday's Car Show

Well I finally got everything back together and made it to my first show with the stang. I got the hood back at 5:30PM Friday and got home at 7:30 still having to put the hood, adjust the hood latch, attach the hood lift cylinders, and wash, wax, and the detail the car.

Had some alternator problems getting over there and back...the first three pics are in a diner parking lot while I was waiting for someone to show up with some tools and help me make it the rest of the way to the show.

Pretty good show except for the trouble I had getting there and back, and I had to leave early to avoid the rain, but ended up getting stuck in it anyway. They didn't have a chance to give out the awards because of the rain but they'll be mailing them this week. I expect to take first based on the other cars in the 1974-present Mustang class. My only competition was the silver 99' Cobra next to me with a procharger, some suspension work, and an insane amp sub set up in the back seat.

Love that engine bay! Car looks amazing!
One question: Where do all of you guys get the polished pulleys from? I know you can get the water pump, crank and alternator ones, but I've never ever come accross anywhere that sells the p/s, idler or tensionner pulleys. Do you just take the stock ones and polish them yourselves? Or can you get the Fox pulley kits to work on our cars????

The pulleys are from Wazee. I think the website is www.wazeepulleys.com.

I think my friend laid the silver down in the center first and then feathered the blue in. I had just asked him to cut a line but he called me and suggested I do the feathering and I'm glad I did. I also had him fill in the hood prop rod hole and sand down the part number so thats all smooth.

ahhhhh, redline tuning hood struts, mine are on order as we speak! That car looks utterly amazing, but would look even more utterly amazing-er with some wheel spacers in the back :nice:

You get teh ReSpeKt!

what type of alternator problems? i see the fuse box has been hidden, was it related to rerouted alternator wires?

Could have something to do with that. Haven't had a chance to really diagnose it yet, but tonight I'm gonna get the alt off the car and take it to get tested. Saturday morning before I left for the show and the car was cold, it was putting out 14+ volts but then when it got warm it was down to about 9 volts. So I think the wiring is ok, just that the alt is on it's way out or maybe the voltage regulator. I'll know more after I get it tested.
