i would like to see what 315 nitto drags look like on a 17x9 inch wheel...side and rear view

i am concerned about how wide they really look. i don't want them sticking out past the fender.

i currently have 275 nitto's on a 17x8 rim but i'm ditching the black bullits for something else.

also, has anyone had any issues running a 315 in the rear?

thanks -

here is the car now

I dont think you can run a 315 on a 9 inch rim. I know you can run them on a 10.

u can fit 335 on a 18x10.5. I saw a stang running Michelin 335 on AFS 03 cobra rims.

I wouldn't run more than 285 on a 17x9 rim

Here's a shot looking down the side from front to back...these Nitto DR 315s are now gone because they suck on a daily driver in FL (contrary to popular belief, it rains alot here in the sunshine state). They gripped very well when dry however, but we were able to trade them in on some clutch work that we needed to have done. Otherwise, they were just sitting around and we hadn't even been to the track yet, so this was an easy decision to get rid of them and take some money off our bill. The 315 is really too big for a 9 inch rim - it does fit, however.

A Nitto 315 will fit on a 9 inch rim easily. I would not reccomend BFG though.

I have 315 BFG DR's as well.....those things are ****ing HUGE. I wouldn't try anything less than a 10.5" rim.

Nitto you *might* be able to get away with because they run small.

How do you figure that? 315/35-17 and 315/30-18 are roughly the same overall size. It'll fit just fine.
