Here's a few pics I took a few days ago. It's a little dirty, but haven't gotten a good chance to clean it up yet and now it's been raining the past few days. I can't even wax her for another several weeks The new parts that have been added are the GT500 front conversion, Steeda cowl hood, Xenon side scoops and GT/CS rear bumper. It was repainted Vista Blue, but on a black primer which makes it much darker than before The '69 BOSS scheme was done in Alloy. I haven't had a chance to park it next to another VB, but I have parked it next to a Sonic Blue and mine is so much darker!

Now for some pics members of the Maryland Patriot Stangs & Fords took.

Thanks!
That's not a metallic clear coat. It's Vista Blue metallic with Alloy metallic stripes, then regular clear on top.
After this photo shoot (pic below), I knew that one day I'd want stripes done in Alloy...just never knew the day would come this soon and mainly out of somebody else's pocket

The VB over black primer is very subtle. It seems to give the car an ever so slight gray hue to it. -definitely nicer than before IMO.

Great minds think alike. I said this earlier in a different thread too. I don't think they fit the theme at all. It'd look so sick with some anthracite Shelby Razors !!

Thanks! I know it's nicer than before, because now I can't stop staring at it! Even as I walk away, I turn a few times to keep checking her out from farther and farther away!
I will put my car side by side with a real VB GT500 somewhat soon. There is one in the MPSF. Also another member has the Steeda cowl/GT500 front, but is all black. I wish I would've taken a pic, but when mine was beside the Sonic Blue, mine made the SB look like a much lighter shade of blue

There will be several tons of pics once I'm able to get her all waxed up and out in nice weather for photo ops (few more weeks)

I've seen the Razors and they're ok (they look really hot on black Stangs!), but I really love the Halibrand style wheel with the dark blue paint (just like the AC Cobra and Daytona)! That's one of the many things that's so great about the S197...so many different styles you can pursue

Kool, I love the Steeda hood with the GT500 conversion. That looks good! I didn't realize yours was an '05. I always thought it was VB to begin with! It's extremely hard to tell the difference between the two colors through pictures.

But I'm glad you made the VB switch. I've thought about the Xenon side scoops to go with my Xenon 1/4 window covers, but I just can't bring myself to pull the trigger.

Anyways, car is looking good man!

Thanks! This mod even amazed me (bad for what I had to go through, but good for the results)!

It sure does make for an aggressive look!
It's an '06 and is VB. Putting VB over the black primer makes it a darker hue than the normal gray primer. I wanted it to be slightly different.

That literally got thrown together in just a few short minutes as the original one warranted a size violation. Did this just to get it changed and work on a better one later
